has Fruit Collaboration going on and i'm a contestant and here is my fruit, the Calabash:

The Calabash fruit is basically a gord before it dies or is oick form its vien. I wanted to do the calabash because i wanted the excuse to draw a massive hip woman, which i love to draw. I drew this in pencil, inked in .1 pen, and scanned and colored it all in Corel Painter 9.

I have this done with a background and way bigger, i had to remove the bg due to the rules, and i had shrunk the image to make it veiwable here at DA. Some may see this and say "whats with the pumkin?" actually the calabash is from the same family as the squash and pumkin, and it forms in various shape which sometime resemble a pumkin. The true form is the ones laying ontop of her chest ans=d on her lap. The colors consist of various greens, and the flowers found variously are the calabashes flower, her wings on her back is also a huge flower. The flower are white but have a green center which fades out.

This took my maybe 3 days to color, truly maybe a day and a half if i had time and continuosly worked at it. I hope you all enjoy this, and i'll be submitting the inked line art and the full version in scraps. Also, when coloring, my Boyfriend suggested i create this into a tattoo, so i had created another type which i'll submit later, maybe into scraps. Mature content?
